Brownsboro Cemetery is now an officially designated Texas Historical Cemetery, with the deed and designation recorded in the County Clerk's office in Boerne. The Comfort Heritage Foundation is working on restoration. Application for the Texas Historic Cemetery marker will be made in 2008 since it was too late in 2007 when we got the designation. Anyone wishing for more information about the cemetery, contact Ruth Kiel or go to the Old Bank Building at the northwest corner of High Street and 7th Street, Comfort. The archives are open on Tuesday morning from 9 a.m. to 12 noon.
